The Hiring Problem
Why growing teams need broader HR coverage
U.S. HR generalist salaries average about $64k–$69k/yr
Add benefits, payroll taxes, equipment, and HR technology, and the fully loaded cost rises well beyond base salary.
One HR issue often crosses multiple functions
A single employee change can affect policy, benefits, payroll, records, compliance, and manager communication.
Inconsistent policy guidance creates risk
Without a knowledgeable point of contact, similar situations receive different answers and documentation becomes fragmented.
Strategic HR leaders get pulled into routine work
Recurring employee questions and program administration leave less time for workforce planning and organizational priorities.
